Sherlock Holmes' land! A Contrast in London shows the difference between the usual busy London, and an empty image that does not meet our perception of London. Gets you thinking. Close up of a cluster of flames on a Birthday cake. Used a quick shutter speed and low exposure to darken the background so the focus was all on the flame. The reflection of the puddles was taken due to inspiration from Issue 19. I used both a blue and an orange filter, each taking half of the image. The image appears to be taken from space. Against the dark background, the iconic Cathedral looks striking. Caught this snap of a tiger sunbathing. I edited the saturation to make the tiger appear more of an orange tone. This photo makes a rather frightening animal look tame and calm! Taken from cliffs in Dorset on a sunny day. The silhouette of the bird looks very dramatic against the red sky. Taken from my house on a November evening. Taken in black and white to contrast the duckling to the bright rippling water. One of my first ever shots. The lights in the background create a festive atmosphere. A man standing on a street corner in Camden looking very 'Rock N Roll' next to the sign. I used focal zoom to focus on the sign and the man. I got up early and saw the moon through the fast moving clouds. I took the opportunity to take this shot, and within a few seconds, the clouds had covered the moon up again Taken from my Garden As soon as I realised it was snowing, I grabbed my Lumix Camera and a coat and took some snaps. The Tower Bridge is so iconic you know what it is even if it is out of focus. The streetlamp also seems quite patriotic, adding to the photo.
