The Results!
Well as usual this competition drummed up a huge response. With hundreds of entries and a surprisingly big range of subjects/styles, this competition was possibly the hardest to judge to date. All of the images that were sent in were great, with a huge number of them jumping out from the pack. However, we can pick only one winner for this competition.
This week we have chosen Steve Fountain as the competition winner. His photo of Blackpool gives a new take on the seascape theme, coupling a longer exposure with a creative edit. Well done Steve, a truly worthy winner.

Seascapes make for some of the best photos, with their calming, serene tones often looking magnificent, and we are sure you have it in you to take fantastic shots of the coast. Why not try out long exposures and create a milky water effect, or head out on a windy day and capture the sea at its most wild moments. I get so many emails from Jessops that I stopped reading them and missed this competition. Their loss.
i have decided to give up on photography. too much competition and too many so called amateurs that are just profesionals trying to win prizes.
