Shutter speed photo competition

A quick shot while the sun was out before the rain came again.

Practicing panning 1/60th of a second not many came out at this speed but I was pleased with this one. I cropped out the crowd which were just a blurry mess but you still get the feel of speed as the grass is out of focus.

Always liked the light trail photo's so i ventured out to have a go and a few days later i managed to get this shot. Its the M6 looking towards birmingham airport and you can see in the background ive managed to catch the police helicopter taking off.
